my little brothers' fave book October 26, 2009 Bengok ChungKang (NH, USA) my little bro absolutely loved this book! he now wants to travel because of this, he just doesnt have the money..
Worth every penny March 29, 2009 P. Jevtic (Orchard Park, NY United States) A great quick read, that offers lots of information. Be prepared to mark your favorite items for your next trip.
Focus is broken down into major sections with details of each topic written by others. Very well laid out and right to the point. I find myself referring back to the book before trips, and always find something useful from the book when on the trip.
If you are traveling to Europe, the buy this book now, there is a great secret on money exchange that will save you more than the cost of the book.
Enjoy!

some tips are interesting, but some I've heard before. The book had a difficult time keeping my interest since the entries are so short and unrelated in terms of organization.

The Smart Traveler's Passport allows travel 'newbies' as well as travel veterans to quickly and easily locate user friendly travel tips. The format is great for those who want fast facts without slogging through long paragraphs. The authors have gathered travel tested suggestions from many people and compiled them into an easy to read, helpful book. Ideas range from travelling to another state to trekking across foreign lands. You'll find hints for packing for road trips to finding freebies in London. The chapter headings are well thought out and specific topics easily located. This book is an enjoyable read with plenty of "AH HA!" tips and I found several of the suggestions just plain fun!
